I'm sorry.

The last two times I've posted about my adventures in Discrete Math, I have been corrected by many of my peers. I have realized now what you are all trying to get me to understand: that logic, at least in the mathematical sense, has no tangible connection with English. I apologize for saying otherwise. I hereby concede that you are all right and I am wrong, as far as this is concerned.

I hope you all can still respect me after my exposure to you all as an illogical and irrational moron. I can at least promise that I'll not post about Discrete Math again unless I'm sure that I'm in the right.

edit: I've calmed down a bit since I posted this, so the struck statement is no longer relevant.

the point of the peer review is to take criticism and use that to improve, not to timidly expose your ideas and then hide in a corner when the first word comes along that you might be wrong. just because we've already taken discrete and have an idea of what you're studying doesn't make us tons smarter, and doesn't make you tons dumber.
