Oh, The Insanity!

Heh, no posts in a month. Didn't expect that...ah well.

Classes are largely to blame. They aren't exactly a walk in the park. The material's easy enough, but every time I get my desk clear, something else comes up.

I've been doing a lot of other things lately...To start with, I went to this thing put on by the scifi club called Invisifest. Basically a mini-con that nobody shows up for. When I got there, I ended up manning the Anime Room for three hours, since the person who was running it (a "high-up" person, as it were) had to go to Wal-Mart. After that, I RPGed Dragonstar for the rest of the time. Think DnD in space.

The other thing I did was go to the IMF protests in Washington this past weekend. It was my first protest, and I was afraid of getting beat up by the police. But, apparently, the police kept their cool. It was, all in all, pretty tame compared to some protests.

I'm heading back to Charlottesville this weekend to visit...and to get my mail from the past month. And of course I miss Mom and the other usual suspects.

Meanwhile, I haven't heard from Em since she left for school. I hope she's OK, and that the pressure isn't getting to her...We shall see, I suppose.
