Apparently, my post from last night got ate...let's try this again...

I did get back to C-Ville safely. It was an annoying trip, tho...thanks to Mom.

She tells me, "Be ready to go at 10 AM." She didn't show up till 11:30, and then the fun begins. First, she got me tons of groceries -- I don't mind that...but then she goes and puts them away for me, throwing out of whack my entire organization system. She also brought rugs for the bathroom and the kitchen...which I didn't want, but she argued and argued and eventually I relented to get her out of there. But she didn't -- she had to have me hang up my blinds using the drill to put holes for the hooks. Meanwhile, she goes and washes the dishes, and chides me about the disorganization of the living room. I couldn't hang the blinds -- mom's drill can't hold a charge, apparently -- and we spend till 1:30 over there taking out garbage and stuff.

But we didn't head out of town right away of course, no...we had to go back to get my Xmas present to her (which I forgot in all the fuss she was making). Then we had to go to Kmart in C-burg to go get an Elvis ornament for my grandma. It, of course, couldn't wait till we got back to C-ville because C-burg, she said, would be less crowded. I couldn't tell when we got there, and we found one dinky ornament that didn't suit Mom as being an appropriate gift. But I found a copy of Final Fantasy IV Advance for $15, so it wasn't a total waste of time.

Then, after a 2.5-hour car ride, we get to C-Ville around 5. Mom had to go get Grandma a present at a store clear on the outskirts of town. So she takes us through rush hour traffic for 30 mins. to get to the store. Then we finally get home.

So yeah, it was a fatiguing and exasperating trip back. But I'm here, watching Mom's large DVD collection. Maybe it'll be quiet for a bit, and then I get Xmas presents!

BTW, my loot report will be delayed for a bit, owing to the fact that I won't get most of them till 1/10. Stay tuned...
