1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Gift bags. My wrapping skills are...subpar.
2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial...Mom got me a little fiber optic tree last year, which seems to do better in the apartment than a 6-ft. Douglas Fir.
3. When do you put up the tree? This is the first year I've done it, so I'll say after Thanksgiving. Any sooner than that is Not Right.
4. When do you take the tree down? I'll probably take it down after New Year's.
5. Do you like eggnog? Nah.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? My SNES. I love that thing.
7. Hardest person to buy for? Most of my family, since I don't see them too often to know what to get them.
8. Do you have a nativity scene? No, and I won't ever have one.
9. Mail or email Christmas cards? It really depends...I've never really had the funds to send real cards but to a few people.
10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? T-shirts from my aunts and uncles that I wouldn't be caught dead wearing outside the house.
11. Favorite Christmas Movie? Die Hard 2. Hey, it's a Christmas movie...
12. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I'm always on the lookout for cool stuff; that said, most of the time I don't really have ideas until after Halloween.
13. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Not really.
14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? The cookies my Aunt Regina bakes...they're delicious.
15. Lights on the tree? Indeed, though the lights on mine are built-in.
16. Favorite Christmas song? "Carol of the Bells" by Mykola Dmytrovych Leontovych (actually, it didn't start out as an X-Mas song, but what else is new?)
17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? I usually end up at my grandmother's with the rest of the family (about 5.5 hours' drive from here).
18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeers? I know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen; Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen; and I do recall....the most famous reindeer of all (Rudolph).
19. Angel on the tree top or a star? My tree came pre-starred.
20. Open the presents Christmas eve or Christmas day? X-Mas Day...though Mom, Grandma, and I open our stockings on X-Mas Eve, since they're huge and with all the family coming, there's no room otherwise...
21. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? The Holiday Shopping Descent Into Madness! (Dun Dun DUNNNNNN!) And it being frakking cold and windy.
22. Favorite ornament theme or color? Hmm...not really doing ornaments this year...I dunno what I'd do.
23. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Hmm...I like turkey, or chicken...though Grandma usually gets ham. Ham's OK, though.
24. What do you want for Christmas this year? Video games, DVDs, etc. My normal approach is to give my family a big list they can choose from, because they complain it's hard to shop for me.
25. What is your favorite Christmas memory? I don't think I have a favorite...not one I can recall at the moment, anyhow.
26. Who is most likely to respond to this? Damn me if I know. I don't think a lot of people actually read my ramblings anymore...
