- I went to see the doctor about my throat today. He says it's either a virus or allergies (which I didn't think I have). Anyway, he took a throat culture and sent it to the lab. I'll find out more tomorrow.
- Today I got an offer for RCC next year. Bad news: it's in Lee Hall -- crowded rooms, noisy freshmen (which means uptight RAs who'll JR me for looking at them funny), leaky roofs, annoying random roommates, and, probably, sterility from the radio tower. And, of course, I won't be the lead RCC, because everyone else has seniority. This doesn't look good. Must look for off-campus housing...
- On a good note, one of my resumes didn't get trashed, and they want to interview me next week. I need this one to go well, I think, for my dastardly plan to succeed. Luck helps, but I think I needs me some interviewing skills. Or lie like a rug, maybe. I need this job.
Update: I should really learn to actually read my important email -- UCS wants to know if I want to be an RCC next year by Tuesday. Of course, this figures, since I was planning to delay the decision until I could ensure that I had a fallback position if I told them no. Now I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Prolly wimp out and accept, I guess. *sigh* Why does my life suck so hard?
