Dang, no post in a while. I was planning to post on Origins before this, but I'm still working on it. Anyway, stuff has happened:

I recently started work at Northrop Grumman, working in their Engineering department. I'm here for about a month. Right now they have me porting an old DOS hardware program to Windows 2000 with a newer version of the hardware. I'd tell you more, but then I'd have to kill you ;)

I got offered an RCC job in Payne Hall! Given the that I lacked work study (thanks oh so very much, Financial Aid Dept., for upwardly adjusting my EFC twice, then making me do a QA audit when I tried to appeal), this was a good thing, so I accepted. Thus, I will be moving in early on the morning of Friday, August 12th, which means that Mom loses the right to whine about parking.

But it also gives her more right to whine about me not being packed yet. This being the case, I have started going through my stuff on another mission to streamline. I've had some ideas on how to do this thus far -- I'll be transporting my PS2/PS1/PC game collection in CD binders, thus freeing space taken up by CD boxes. I'm also planning to go through my desk boxes at some point. Hopefully, I'll have enough time to do that before I have to go. We'll see.

But that's not all. Through good fortune and the help of the coordinator, I was able to get robertliguori as a roommate again! That was the one thing worrying me about my new job this year. But now it's fixed! Huzzah!
