Tying up loose ends
May. 6th, 2004 05:04 pmI got another email from the RCC people -- apparently, the first email was from the Get Connected people. They can't offer me a job, but want to make me an Alternate -- meaning, if someone bowed out during the year (or during the summer), I would be called. I'm thinking about it. What I'm puzzled about is why the GC people sent me something when I applied for the RCC position only?
I also got my official letter of rejection from STL today. Terse and to the point. Why they don't just email that is beyond me. It's a lot faster. But I've submitted a resume to Andy Shoemaker over at Virpack. It's a long shot, but it's a shot. Thanks to vond for his help with this.
Tentative room assignments for next year were sent out today. We (robertliguori and I) got a room in the second floor of Harper. Kinda far from everything, but it's a suite. And it's got AC, which is more than what I can say for Newman. And hopefully the RAs will be less anal. *snort* Fat chance.
Finally, I turned in my last project for the semester, which means that I can now study for exams. And pack. And do whatever else needs doing, honestly. Everything's up in the air right now. We'll see what happens.
