(no subject)

OK, so today I went back to work for the first time in a while. Was woken up at 5:30 in the frelling morning by Mom ater sleeping for four hours, so I was suffering from mild sleep dep. And yet, I experienced an odd sense of clarity and calmness. I only got angry once today during a tense moment. I was nice to people today. Of course, this may be because the new people they got since I left were nice to me as well. But still, pretty cool. Of course, I was out like a light after work, when Mom and I packed the car and left for WV, where I am now. And, thanks to my own incompetence, my headphone port on my laptop is broken again. So another RMA for it, meaning I will have limited access to computers for the week it's gone.

I'm starting to think about things I want to do this break. Basically, set up my server and register for Origins. Speaking of which -- anyone going who is planning on registering before January 1st? Because if I register with you, I get in free with the buy-one-get-one they're doing, and I'll refund you half the reg price if that's the case.

Setting up the server's going to be a pain -- first setting up Apache and MySQL, then setting up the wireless NIC drivers, which requires configured kernel source. Ugh. And, of course, I need web content -- but that's not the hard part.
