(no subject)
Dec. 11th, 2003 01:12 amLike everyone else, I've finished all of my classes. The only thing remotely interesting that happened is that I got a 74 on my last Discrete test. Fortunately, the final will replace our lowest test score, so I'm not worried.
Tomorrow is reading day, where I begin studying for exams. My Unix exam is this Friday. I have Discrete and Chem on Monday, and then OOP and Multivariable on Wednesday. I'll be here till around noon Friday, when they kick us out of the dorms. I'll be heading back to C-Ville then.
Mom's putting me to work this break. I go back to work where I was last summer until I come back to B-Burg in a month's time. That means more money for next semester, but I might be dead tired by the time I get home. So I may be offline a lot this break. Mom's also wanting me to work next semester. I found one good job that might suit me -- I'm just worried about how this would affect my work. The work for Chem was so labor-intensive this year that I couldn't work this semester like Mom wanted me to.
She's also looking for me to get a job next summer too. She suggested the two computer sections in the hospital. The problem with those are that the computers in the hospital run antiquated systems (one's a DEC Unix system in operation since 1980; the other one's even older). In reality, they're W2K machines, but all they are are terminals to the hospital records system. Unless I can find something else, however, this may be my only option.
In any event, I have some things to discuss with Mom when I get back. But right now I have exams. And I need sleep.
