I'm in.

Woke up at 3:30 and got dressed, packed final stuff, and went off in van. We (Mom and I) went to Krispy Kreme to find donuts. Apparently, they are no longer open 24 hours as our attempt to obtain donuts failed. We went to Giant instead and got some from the bakery. I then realized I forgot my headphones. We went back to the house to retrieve them, then we were off.

The trip was uneventful. I tried to pass the time watching Fellowship of the Ring, but Mom kept bugging me and guilting me, saying she wanted me to talk to her. Finding little to talk about, I was ill-equipped. Mom talks to Grandma a lot when she goes to visit her and expects me to do the same. Thing is, my life is my own business. Especially since she freaks at things I do. Heck, she thought I was suicidal after telling her about the tubing trip. So I don't share much with Mom. Better that way, methinks.

We got there about 7:15-7:30ish. Still too early, so after trying to find Mom a bathroom, I try my ID on the dorm door. It came unlocked, amazingly enough, and we started loading. robertliguori arrived as we were starting to do this, and he and his parents helped us, as I brought most of the stuff for the dorm. We got finished about 11:30 or so, thanks to them. We all had lunch together, then went our separate ways (the Liguoris and Mom and I). After helping me fill up my Hokie Passport, Mom left. I took a shower, then proceeded to start doing things on my computer. Downloaded VS.NET 2003 for better wxWindows compatibility. And I tried to sleep a bit, with little success.

So I went to Wal-Mart to buy some consumables and other miscellania. Bumped into nixve there, with her family. Then I bumped into an old friend of mine from high school (I bumped into another at lunch, while I'm on the subject). And then I bumped into Peg, and we made some idle conversation for a while.

I came back, and here I am. And now I leave for Spiel.
