(no subject)

The past few days have been busy. Packing for Blacksburg has recommenced -- I managed to get rid of 3 boxes in the streamlining process, and it's still going on. I have almost all my books packed, and most of my miscellaneous equipment. Most of the electronic stuff won't be packed until the last few days I'm here.

I've also started loading up my laptop. Got the XP Service Pack, Java, OpenOffice, Firebird, and foobar installed. I can't think of anything else I'll need on that system except Visual Studio, which can wait until I get to Blacksburg to download the 2003 version. (and wxWindows, Visio, and a few games, but that's all nonessential...)

Work progresses. Rough week. Glad next week's my last. Got my pay stub today, and I'm almost certain my taxes went up by that new tax law, probably to pay for the tax cut of some rich Yale asshat who wants another Porsche. I'll be using it to buy books and miscellaneous laptop stuff. I should be all set soon.

Meanwhile, I haven't played NS in a few days. Can't get rusty...
