Happenings

• A coworker blew up on me at work yesterday over a trivial thing. Apparently he's done this a lot, and has been kicked off of the other two shifts for it. My supervisor is on my side. He's not speaking to me right now.
• Had DRS appointment today. It was just to check with me regarding life at school, accommodations, etc. Had to sprint to make the bus on time to get to work. Made me tired throughout the day.
• I finally cancelled my Juno account. I kinda feel sorry for the lady I gave my SMTP rant to. Bet she gets it a lot. Ah well. The company sucks anyway.
• My sister's computer has finally died. It was an old 486, so I was sort of expecting it. Now she's bugging me for stuff to do, and for me to bug Mom to get her a new computer. Mom's reluctant. And I'm caught in the middle. Oy.
• I've decided to work evenings next weekend, with some prodding from Mom. Should be uneventful. At least I can get enough for a DND v3.5 book set.

The Great Laptop Hunt continues. Wal-Mart has had a display model out for a week that meets some general expectations for about $1k. Plus it comes with a scanner/printer, which would save some more space. Mom's been pressuring me to buy it, but I've not seen advanced specs on the video chip inside it. I want to make sure it's halfway decent beforehand. Wal-Mart doesn't have detailed specs, and the computers themselves haven't come in yet. Good thing I have another week to make up my mind.
