...In other news, I lost my bid, by I don't know how much, to becoming Spiel-Tcon Liason in favor of zerblinitzky. Mildly depressing, but I was otherwise unfazed. Better than nixve, I guess. She ran for President, and -- to her astonishment -- won. I voted for her, but I'm not sure whether I should be proud or apologize for putting her in a spot. Congrats to her, in any case.

Got spec for final CS1704 project today. Linked list goodness. Hearing him talk about it today made my brain throw an exception, especially when he started talking about sorting the damn linked list! I don't think even he knew what he was teaching us to do. And I have two weeks. Gah.

Oh yeah, and I saw Lewis Black tonight. Funny comedian, although I could tell this was not one of his funniest acts. The whole politically correct thing was partially to blame, methinks, after all the BOV stuff. Plus, Lewis talked about Iraq and Dubya when the CT headline read today, in one-inch letters, "War claims life of Tech alumnus." You'd think someone from UUSA would tell them about that as a sort of heads-up. It was just bad timing, that's all. I wish Lewis Black comes back, though. Maybe when the public isn't paying so much attention to these sorts of things.
