Another Friday, another post...

Interesting miscellania today. Did Linear Algebra stuff -- very easy. Like what I did in Vector Geometry. I fail to understand why they make us take this course. Aside from one or two topics in the course, it's all stuff I learned elsewhere. And it's stupid. And tedious. But that's the Math Department for you.

Also did some work for once. Installed a firewall, a hub, and a UPS on the web server (I'm doing it for the Dept. of Plant Pathology and Weed Science -- basically, how to kill plants with insecticides). We (my co-worker and I) tried to get the server up and running, but we found, to our horror, that we lost the Post-It with the root password on it. We now have to go crawling in the hellish depths of Storage to retrieve it. Ugh.

On a positive note, roleplaying was very good tonight. My character stayed true to his concept for once, and manage to piss off the pack Alpha in the process. It would go so much better if the other pack ceased their annoying antics once in a while so we could have quiet enough to hear the GM...

But I'm tired. Must get sleep.
