Seattle sounds cool (I've never been there). I doubt I could move over there, sadly. I'd end up working for Microsoft...ick. Plus, most of my friends are on the East Coast.
Actually, Virginia isn't for lovers unless you're straight and want to get married. I know a lady who is violently opposed to marriage, but is in a long-term relationship with a man. Up until now they've managed to make things go their way but I wonder if now she will just have to swallow her pride and get married on paper just so her POSSLQ can take care of things if something happens to her and vice versa.
Ugh, I was waiting for someone to say that. Leaving is exactly the WRONG thing to do (I realize you're not actually leaving because of this but your wording was less explicit about it than pathia's).
What people should be doing is trying to get more liberals to move here from over-liberal states where their votes aren't needed.
Prf, heh, whoops. Probably should've said my reasons for moving are job-related, NOT political-related. Ah well...guess it didn't help that I haven't exactly been explicit about my job front lately. ^^;
Sorry I won't be able to help the liberals in Virginia anymore, but who knows. Maybe Missouri ALSO needs more liberals (I'll need to check the politics there =>.>=).
