Just found out that my sister's having surgery. Got a one-line email from my mom. Very brief -- no mention of what had happened. Strange. But not unusual. I just hope she's doing OK.

Anyhoo, I went to a rehearsal of Human Rites. I felt like a fifth wheel there. The director looked at me weird, until I explained what I was doing there, and then they were all very cooperative. A very interesting piece. I suggest you check it out.

Also, an online BOV petition has been circulating recently. Here it is. Feel free to pass it on to whomever's relevant to this issue.
