Apple's website says you only need 256, which is technically true, but I don't recommend less than 512. In fact, I'll be upgrading to 1024 as soon as the financial opportunity presents itself... I really need to reboot to clear the system before I play WoW, and the machine remains a little sluggish for a while afterwards.
