To save tech support some grief...

If you live on the Tech campus, you've probably seen that wonderful login page by now...and have had your connection drop out at least once. Try this before calling 4Help:

1. Click on the Start Menu, click "Run".
2. Type cmd in the box, then click OK.
3. In the window that appears type ipconfig /release and hit Enter.
4. When that's done, type ipconfig /renew and hit Enter.
5. Close that window, and try to open up a website. You should get that login page. Bookmark it, you'll prolly need it later.
6. Type in your PID and password, click the "Log In" button.
7. You should be OK now. If a little pop up window appears, don't close it, you'll be looged out if you do. it's OK to close it -- just click "Cancel" if a message box appears asking if you want to log out. (Thanks, yubbie.)

If this doesn't work, consult 4Help, your RCC, Get Connected staff (if they're around), or your pineal gland.
