Gee, Saturday, Saturday...Went to Food Lion w/Mom and got a bunch of Coke on sale. Made 3 trips (stupid 4-bottle limit). On the plus side, I don't need to stop at Kroger when I get back.

Dropped off applications/resumes for summer jobs as well. Mom nagging at me constantly. Calls me a "job snob" -- just because I won't go out and apply for jobs I'm not qualified for and that would be a waste of my time to try to apply for. Makes comments about a friend of mine who went into construction work (I'm not that strong) and calls me a fat slob while she's at it. Thanks, Mom. I love you too.

Thankfully, I won't be staying here much longer. I leave tomorrow. And then I'll be engrossed in projects, TCon, all sorts of stuff...hope to see you all when I get back.

I've never had a job I met the job description for. Your mom is right. Just pick a bunch of cool sounding jobs and send your resume. Nine out of ten times the person writing the job description/ad doesn't have a clue about the job or what to ask for.
