I remember orientation at JSC a few years ago, and it was pretty godawful. I was just first coming in for my internship, right out of high school, and everyone else there that was an intern was right out of college. I had been stuck in the quality assurance contract (the IT section, but still SR&QA), so most of the day-long process was stuff I would never, ever need to know, like how to properly report a part or process failing inspection.
Since then, I've only had to do it once, and only about twenty minutes of it then (the IT security spiel, which we all used to have to hear yearly).
