Kinda stayed up all night (took a 30-minute nap), during which time I finished The Dispossessed. Mom went off about 7-ish or so to go to a fabric store in Dayton (I'm guessing VA, not OH), some 3 hours away. Came back around 15:00. She made me set up her computer to use the new ISP we got (see last post). Still rasslin' with DUN bug in W98 that won't save passwords. She then thanked me by getting me MoO3 for free. She ate 5 bucks for shipping and it'll be here in a week. Thanks to jdunson for the info.

While I was online, I decided to find a replacement service for CallWave, whose profiteers decided to start charging $50/year for net voice mail service (you can catch calls while online). I found a reasonable replacement in BuzMe, that gives me Caller ID and the chance to respond to the person on the other end (through a text-to-speech thing; I type in the message and it is read to the caller). Now I've just got to install it on Mom's computer and wait for the ring forward on busy number to change. Then I finished the Five post I started this morning.

Now I've just got to get Mom to do the laundry already...
