Yeah. So, I survived the trip to C-Ville -- left at about 3:15 or so, got in around 7-7:30. Packing and hauling was a bitch, but that won't be an issue next year. Most of my stuff is still boxed up in my adopted sister's old bedroom.
Whilst I was moving out, I made an inquiry to my contact at Sperry Marine. Not long afterward, one of the HR people over there made me an offer. So, this trip wasn't completely wasted. I went in there Friday to take a drug test and to get my official offer letter, which says I'll be working "part time" as a "trainee" in the purchasing department for twelve bucks an hour. I'm not entirely sure what they mean by "part time" -- one of my contacts said something about working on a sort of consulting basis during the interview, but what they meant by that was unclear. In any case, I start the 23rd, which will give me enough for Origins.
It was payday today, so Mom wanted to give me at least part of the birthday present she owed me. I now own a Gamecube with Super Monkey Ball 2 and a Zelda compilation disc. I'm going to buy some more titles over the summer. Plus, she got DSL service for the house, and that starts Wednesday. Yay!

That's pretty much it so far. Congratulations to rainbowsaber, kittenchan, brenderlin, and flamingophoenix for getting their degrees. I just wish I was there to see you all get them...*sigh*
