Now, after all that doom and gloom, let's do something meme-y. The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed. Well, let's see. Copy this list and do the following:

I got to about 20 before I got bored. Not too bad. :)

34, but that's not including the ones that are half read. Some of them, I just got tired in the middle, like in the case of Jane Eyre. I think I started reading that one at too young an age.
