Goodbye, 2005...and good riddance

I've about 30 minutes left to make this, my last post of the year. Right now, I'm at vond's party, surrounded by friends and watching Dr. Who at rubinpdf's insistence.

I usually take this post to do some introspective navel-gazing, but I've got something different on my mind this year. Mainly, that 2005 sucked. Really.

Many good people have died. The Supreme Court moves to the right. My favorite con is facing doom. New Orleans has been annihilated. The list goes on, but you get the gist: 2005 has not been a good year.

Here's hoping 2006 will be better.
