My first week of classes is now over. I have a project due in Baby's First Data Structures next Friday, Homework in ECE due on the same day, and my first Chem lab of the semester on Wednesday, right after lunch. But things are going OK.

My after-class time today was spent running errands -- getting accommodation letters, faxing my absentee ballot application for the primary, calling my old boss at the lab for an address to put on my list of references, updating my resume, and calling to set up an appointment with a possible employer. I promised Mom that I'd get a job this semester, and now I have to make good on that promise. The job doesn't seem that bad, and it beats software tech support at EF, which I was going to do.

The rest of my time has been spent updating my conception of the Spiel website. I've put up the links page, changed the background color of the menu box, and started work on getting the officers page up. Right now I'm going to try to get all the pages verified as standards-compliant so I can put the W3C icons on the bottom -- not much, but I've run out of content-related stuff to do. Comments on the site are, of course, welcome.
