• This weekend, I purchased (for $8), played, and finished (by Sunday night) Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty for Playstation 2. Excellent gameplay, pretty graphics, but methinks the plot was too surreal. Ah well. Still worth $8.
• Thanks to my renewed laptop-ness, I have been exploring more of System Shock 2, thanks to the new version of one of the high-res texture mods as well as the discovery of other mods that balance gameplay. I noticed that a lot of the signage hasn't been redone. I want to help, and thus my puzzle is figuring out the font they use for the signs and computer screens. It looks like a pretty standard sci-fi block lettering font. So far no success.
• I'm now officially registered for Origins, so -- barring anything unforeseen -- I will be there. I got my badge confirmation today, although the website still thinks I don't have one. Thanks go to uilos for her assistance.
• You all need to get this month's issue of Computer Gaming World magazine. Here's why. The first two alone are definitely worth it.

Yup, at around 17:00. Got two, actually -- one confirming my order and one confirming my badge-holding status.
