Home Again
Got back home OK. Mom's glad I'm back again. We went to the mall yesterday, where we picked up some things. She got Terminator 3 and I got a copy of Die Another Day (it was $10). I also got a couple of old N64 games for dirt cheap (Pilotwings 64 and Turok 1 -- I liked both in my youth). Anyway, over the course of the weekend I've watched a number of movies. T3 was OK; I liked the fact that Hollywood can actually have some other model for their computers aside from the Big Red Button computer, whose sole purpose for existance is to have a Big Red Button to shut down the other computers. Also watched Solaris, which was mediocre. And I watched the three Star Trek:TNG movies. (Don't talk to me about Nemesis. It was an abomination. Mom should feel dirty for having purchased it.)
I have also been getting some work done on my latest OOP project. I decided to scrap all the code I had written so far (which was a mess) and start fresh with all the code I had written from the first Warehouse project. I got that working a couple of hours ago. Now, all I have to do is add the new functionality, which involves adding some subclasses and some text parsing code. Not incredibly hard to code. Debugging may be another matter. We'll see.
I'm heading up to my grandmother's on Wednesday for Thanksgiving. I'll be there until Satyrday. Hopefully I can have all this finished before I leave Sunday. At least, I better -- the deadline's Monday.
