Yeah, its not the end of the world just yet.

Mmmmmmm... I would concentrate on words like 'curve' or 'class average.' If you see either of those anywhere, start feeling good about the grade you just got.

I once got a 13/85 on a project because I forgot to email it to the ta. And I failed two other projects in the same class. Just do good where you can and things will work out (even if you don't see the above mentioned words). There were five projects total and two tests and an exam. Because of those other grades, I still got a 'b' for the course.

But you're the kind of guy who needs hard proof, so here I go:
(55 + 77 + 77 + 77 + 77 + 77) / 6 = 73+1/3.
