SGA was not very good. The chair of the committee I'm sitting on is going on a power trip. Not fun. They moved meetings to Wednesday evenings, so my Spiel time may be affected. Grr.
Spiel this week was somewhat lacking in games. There were two going, Witch Hunt and Quiddler. Witch Hunt looked good enough to buy. Oh, and my Chem lab report was short work for the first time ever! Yay!
VTSFFC was OK. Almost nobody showed up at Bogen's, and nobody had the movie we were going to watch (The Nightmare Before Christmas). We decided on watching the furry CSI, but the TV only got the one cable channel piped to it (ESPN). So we watched trailers. I left early to catch Rocky Horror -- which I barely did, since I thought it was in Litton Reaves and it was actually in Squires. But I got there in time to see the show, which was pretty good.
Went to rubinpdf's house around 4 yesterday for Moonbase Commander and, eventually, the Spiel Halloween Party. I ended up playing only two games of Moonbase, since the never-ending horde of trick-or-treaters coming from all over the place interrupted us every 30 seconds. We ran out of six bags of candy in the space of an hour. Six!
The Halloween party was pretty good. Ended up playing Sorry!, which I haven't done in years, with jazzfish, uilos, and zerblinitzky. Then I ended up reading Death, a comic book that nixve gave me (she got her costume from it), and then watching nixve playing the Skittle game. At that time, I had to go to campus to play Werewolf, and nixve drove me over (thanks!).
The SOAP people were just about to depart for vond's apartment to play. (They were waiting for me, I think.) We caught rainbowsaber and kittenchan doing costume stuff and vond heading out to the Spiel Halloween party. Eventually, we got settled enough to play. I found out that I am now Beta for the Musketeers. Other than that, we're in Central Park in New York about to fight off some gigantic robotic spiders. I think this is where robertliguori's character is coming into his element (he's a Glass Walker). Hmm. As we left, kittenchan and rainbowsaber were making Death Brownies. Yum!
