*grr*
I HATE Juno.
Tried to install a new version of their software. Dialed up to find that I was, to its moronic brain, one of their "free" customers and that I couldn't use any of the Charlottesville numbers to access anything but the Juno domain, since those numbers are no longer for free members. I spent the whole day wrestling with it. Trying to d/l their 8 MB older software took forever, and the servers kept cutting me off after about 15 minutes or so. Finally, I found an old CD of mine with the really old v4.0 of its software. Despite its age, it's actually less annoying than its successors, so I'm going to keep it for as long as Juno lets me. Or until Friday, when Mom says she'll switch over to the other ISP I found. One with an accessible SMTP server, thank the gods!
In other news...interview went well. They'll pay me ~$9.50 an hour, if I make the final cut. Good enough to get my laptop by the end of the summer. They say if I get the job, I'll be filling in for the regulars on break, on vacation, etc. As Mom points out to me, this is fairly often. They'll call me on Monday to tell me either way. I'm not worried.
Meanwhile, I watched some more Hikaru no Go. Fascinating series. I can see why Emperial likes it.
